Tools, tools, tools! As described in Part 1, neither from the technical point of view nor regarding workflow, nothing was in our way to fulfill the customer’s requirement and create a customized and reusable component library that would also double as a living style guide documentation for any future developments. It was time to boost our productivity with some useful tools and integrate them in our communication, be it with the customer, with the designers or with other developers.

What do we do if we don’t find an appropriate component library for our projects and requirements? We build one!

Have you ever looked at your code and thought maybe it wasn't the right way to implement it? I once heard that if you look at your code from two years ago and see no problems with it, then you haven't learned anything. Well, my code wasn't even that old as I started to wonder if there is another way to solve a particular problem. I took the opportunity to re-examine my work during our Fusonic Mega Hackathon 2020 and try out other solutions.

Lilla Fésüs, Lilly, gebürtige Ungarin, lebt seit 3 Jahren in Vorarlberg und arbeitet seit 19 Monaten bei Fusonic in Götzis. In einem Interview erzählt sie uns über ihren Werdegang, den Weg von Budapest über Wien ins Ländle, ihre Tätigkeit bei Fusonic und das Leben als Expat in der Region.
